EAT Bulaga’s Vic Sotto go wrong in pitching anything on television? We have seen him promote cough syrup, laundry detergent, and a caboodle of other consumer products. In fact, apart from another personality (which I know you all know), Sotto is the next most prolific consumer products endorser on television.
Now, he is moving from home products to homes. Recently, he was introduced to members of the press as the face of CitiGlobal.
The real estate company is developing rest houses and condotels for a purpose. CitiGlobal is actually in the business of empowering hardworking Filipinos to make use of their hard-earned money wisely and enjoy it leisurely.
Sotto as its endorser is expected to bring home that message to our fellows working for themselves and their families outside the Philippines. Apart from endorsing a real estate company, he is also championing its purpose of helping deserving individuals in improving their status in life.
Knowing their sacrifices to give their families better lives, the comedian/TV host has a soft side for what he calls “our bagong bayani,” or the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs). He said at the press presentation at Luxent Hotel in Quezon City, “I am very partial to our OFWs. Nakakasama at nakakausap ko ang madami sa kanila hindi lang sa studio ng Eat Bulaga, kundi pati na rin sa mga international concerts namin. Nito lang April, nasa Toronto kami. Ramdam mo talaga na sabik na sabik sila sa Pilipinas. Lahat nag-iipon para makapagbakasyon sa atin. Kaya ganoon na lang ang kayod nila para makapag-relax at mag-enjoy dito.”
After realizing CitiGlobal’s “uniqueness” and “sense of purpose,” he agreed to an endorsement contract, knowing the deal would make sense as far as his cause is concerned. He explained, “I hope more efforts are placed on teaching OFWs how to invest and not just save money. This is my personal advocacy and I am just happy that CitiGlobal has a way to help OFWs invest through leisure properties. Maganda kasing investment ang mga rest house at condotel.”
Bossing Vic may not appear donning a superhero outfit to encourage OFWs and hardworking professionals to invest properties care of CitiGlobal. But his belief in the project is enough to serve as saving grace, in the same manner as his iconic superhero roles offer hope and fun to Filipino people from all walks of life.
He made clear his point by saying, “Citiglobal is the perfect partner for our OFWs because the company helps our modern day heroes attain their dreams of living a wonderful and blessed life. Before, owning a leisure property is an idea reserved for the very rich people. Today, with CitiGlobal, luxury can also be enjoyed by hard-working people. Of all the real estate companies out there, it is only CitiGlobal that’s making their far-fetched dream a reality for our OFWs.”
